October’s season opener, Crooked Numbers by local playwright, Ellen Margolis, set Woodstock, 1979. Her hands already full with a struggling business and a dying partner, Fran takes on the care and feeding of her 15-year-old, baseball-obsessed niece. It will be directed by Micki Selvitella. Micki has solid experience working with new works and is excited to pair with Ellen on her play. Sponsored by Don Horn.

ELLEN MARGOLIS (Playwright; member, Dramatists Guild) has seen her plays produced nationally and internationally, garnering awards and commissions from the New York International Fringe Festival, Shaking-the-Tree, Mile Square Theatre, and the Portland Theatre Guild (two-time Drammy winner). Ellen serves as Director of Theatre at Pacific University in Forest Grove. She is a San Francisco Giants fan.
MICKI SELVITELLA (director) is a writer, director, actor, and artist. She is delighted to be back at PCTG, where previous productions include Humble Boy, Artichoke, Grand Junction, and Kimberly Akimbo (actor). She is a Fulbright scholar, a graduate of the Yale School of Drama, and lives and dies with the Boston Red Sox. mickiselvitella.com
DANIELLE WEATHERS (Fran) is honored to be a part of the team bringing Ellen’s play to you today. Her favorite baseball team is the one and only Chicago Cubs. She once attended a Wrigley Field game that experienced a rain delay. Not a single attendee left for the three hour wait, until it resumed. Go Cubs!
ARLEEN DAUGHERTY (Millie) (represented by Ryan Artists) is delighted and honored to be a part of this talented team sharing Ellen Margolis’s “Crooked Numbers”. Since 2008, she’s participated as an actor in over twenty local theatre productions, as well as the occasional film/print projects. She is a fan of the Milwaukie High School Mustangs!
JENNA CADY (Dusty) is excited to perform for PCTG. Jenna studies theatre at Pacific University, and is a theatre artist in the Portland area, most recently working as a technician and designer for From The Ground Up and Theatre Viscera. Their favorite baseball team is the Baltimore Orioles.
MCKENNA TWEDT (Lizbeth) (she/they) is pleased to be performing again for PCTG. She is an actor, producer and creative director committed to rarely seen works created by artists of identity and racial diversity. McKenna is a former ensemble member of Theatre Vertigo and a co-producer/actor with CoHo Productions. Favorite baseball team: New York Yankees. IG @lovinne.
