October 3, Tuesday, the Portland Civic Theatre Guild presents  Neil Simon’s delightful comedy, I Ought to Be in Pictures  at The Sanctuary, home of triangle productions!

I Ought to Be in Pictures will be the October 3 reading for the Portland Civic Theatre Guild’s First Tuesday Readers Theatre. The play will be presented at 10:30 am on Tuesday October 3 at The Sanctuary (home of triangle productions!).  The Sanctuary is located at 1785 NE Sandy Blvd. Tickets, available at the door, are $10.00 and include coffee and light refreshments.

The central character in I Ought to Be in Pictures is Herbert. Herbert abandoned his family 16 years ago and headed to Hollywood to make it as a screenwriter. His teen daughter, Libby, wants to make it in Hollywood too, so she seeks him out, landing on his doorstep one sunny day. This delightful comedy promises both laughter and tears.

Directed by Scott Rogers, the play stars Clyde FT Small as Herb, Jeanne Rogers as Herb’s girlfriend Steffy, and Amber Schein as his abandoned daughter, Libby.

We look forward to seeing you at I Ought to Be in Pictures. Complimentary coffee, tea and refreshments at 10:00 am followed by the reading at 10:30.
